Each gourd has its own wonderful qualities. This one was perfectly shaped without a blemish on it! Occasionally I decorate a very simple design for myself. This single leaf on such a beautiful gourd actually raises my consciousness just to look at it.  For me it is purity, serenity and very uplifting. These eight gourds each have a historical face.The top of each gourd has a strip of leather looped through an o-ring for hanging purposes. 

                              

                                                                                      "Creatures, Big & Small"

These woodland animals are singing HU. Many people Sing HU. Sit comfortably with eyes closed and their attention placed just between the eye brows. HU (pronounced Hue) is an ancient word for God. When sung in a long, drawn-out sound, it is a Love song to God. Singing HU opens the heart to receive blessings from God. Front: Turtle. Mouse,  Back: Butterfly, Squirrel, Owl.

 Tiny Hummers close to life-size are etched on these gourds with a burning pen.

Three sheep are etched into this baby's rattle. The gentle sound from shaking the seeds inside is enough to calm anyone.
